Cumbria Farmer Network - The Team -
The Company has several local coordinators who work for it. Their role is:
- To support farmers who want to collaborate and stimulate farmer collaboration.
- Helping groups to access funding and managing projects on behalf of groups.
- Directing farmers to the most appropriate sources of advice and funding
- Improving skills, knowledge and understanding, through organising meetings, visits to other farms, food processors, retailers or other relevant people to see good practice.
To improve awareness of the opportunities for change, through meetings, newsletters and the media. To help establish new local farm development groups and help develop new projects.
