the Cumbria Farmer Network - home
The Cumbria Farmer Network is a farmer owned and run not-for-profit Company, limited by guarantee
What we do:
We use farmer coordinators to support farmer members from Cumbria who want to collaborate to increase profits, improve the environment and educate the public. We organise meetings, farm demonstrations, help members find public funding and set up services to help reduce costs by collaborating. We educate the public by producing and selling Lake District DVD’s and videos called “Behind the Scenery” as well as organise farm walks, school trips and the annual Fell Gather open day, when farm meets the public to show how farming, food, environment and rural life are all connected.
